could this be due to disc region (I live in Australia)? Because I would have thought these discs would be too popular to have not been dumped and emailed, etc.
Speaking of user error - if no-one minds - may I ask why I might have only been able to get my copy of The Matrix in 4K to be read by my drive? After trying The Dark Knight, Rogue One, Bladerunner, and Tenet, only the Matrix has worked. but that's the whole point of user error. My copy of the Matrix is able to be ripped - which I am doing now, just to double check that the disc is good, so afaik, this isn't a problem of user error. Unless I was doing something wrong, MPV didn't seem to be able to play discs, and MPC-HC says development has been cut since 2017. I tried playing back in Kodi, (yes, after adding/enabling/ it in MakeMKV preferences), but no cigar. It is gross but it worked.From what I understand, MakeMKV should be able to decrypt UHD disks in real time, such that an external player can play them? Which players are good for this? - I have not been able to get it to work. I have picked different tracks (angles) to see if that helps and it dies in the same spot every time. I have checked the disc repeatedly and see nothing wrong. I get to almost exactly 18GB on the disc and it just sits for a while before it dies and gives me the "failed to copy" message. I am in the process of attempting to determine how to configure the SONOS and Zappiti system to use the assigned accounts. My plan is to eventually turn off the Guest account and create both a SONOS and Zappiti one.
This has been verified by doing a Wireshark trace. Open MakeMKV after downloading and installing it on your computer. I drop the disc in, it reads the contents and shows 11 angles / tracks or so and they all look identical to me, so I pick one of them and let it run. Both the computer and Zappiti hardware are using the SYNOLOGY Guest account. Below is the steps for using the program to convert your Star Wars Rogue One Blu-ray to digital video format. I have ripped 1100 DVDs and Blu-rays with only 4 discs that did not rip but most of those had some sort of physical issue (scratches, plastic issues, etc), but this disc is just giving me struggles despite looking like it is fine. The disc has no perceivable issues - looking both on the disc itself and in reflected light on the disc.
